Solar Asset Manager

Seeking an Asset Manager to serve as a manager-level point person for contract administration (including project administration agreements, power purchase agreements, lender agreements, LLC, and equity agreements) for a portfolio of operating project companies.

Responsibilities

• Existing Portfolio: Lead an initiative to centralize and formalize contract knowledge base.
• Future Portfolio: Onboard and integrate future operating assets.
• Day-to-Day: Drive procedural excellence within the team and improve contract administration systems.
• Contract Administration: Develop command of business administration, contract administration, and compliance requirements.
• Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with key counterparties.
• Commercial Management: Enact commercial efforts, including oversight of projects’ adherence to PPA performance obligations.
• Cross-Functional Support: Provide support for colleagues within asset management and related teams.
• Special Projects: Serve as project manager or subject matter expert in cross-functional efforts.

Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in STEM, business/finance/economics, or 5 years relevant experience.
• Travel up to 25%.
• Strong managerial skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter with drive to deepen business acumen.

Preferred

• Energy sector foundation in contract, regulatory, financial, or compliance management.
• Renewable Energy industry experience.
• Professional certifications or advanced degrees.
• Fluency in renewable energy financial models, structure finance/project finance business design, and underlying renewable energy contracts.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish.
