Position Overview: As an Assistant Solar Sales Manager, you will work under the guidance of the Outside Sales Manager to oversee and enhance the performance of our sales team in addition to making sales. You will be instrumental in training, developing, and motivating team members to achieve sales goals and maintain our high standards. This role is perfect for a dynamic, results-oriented individual who loves to sell but also wants to get into management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Guide and support the sales team in Northern CA, fostering professional development and enhancing team performance.
- Sales Strategy: Assist in setting sales targets, monitor progress, and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Training & Development: Conduct hands-on coaching, provide real-time feedback, and identify learning opportunities to elevate team skills.
- Customer Relations: Address escalated customer concerns and ensure satisfaction through effective problem resolution.
- Performance Management: Participate in the annual performance review process, offering recommendations for career growth and development.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct in-home solar sales presentations as needed.
- Team Meetings: Lead and participate in weekly meetings to review metrics, share updates, and engage with the team.

Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the solar, HVAC, roofing, or other Home Improvement industry, with 2-4 years in a sales management role preferred.
- Sales Success: Demonstrated success in home improvement sales with a strong record of closing deals.
- Skills: Excellent organizational abilities, with a knack for motivating and inspiring team members.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Salesforce.
- Licenses: Valid CA drivers license and HIS license required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
