SITE LOADOUT COORDINATOR required by our Client, within the Renewables industry, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Rhode Island, US.

POSITION SCOPE
To act as the businesss leading project representative at the load-out port, managing the work of the Company and its contractors, and ensure safe and efficient load-out of WTG components.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote a high focus on HSE in all phases of the operation and from all contractors.
- Plan and coordinate port operations, including management of the businesss equipment on site Coordinate and manage interfaces between contractors at the load-out port.
- Oversee the planning and execution of the load-out and sea fastening (performed by the WTG Installation Contractor, the Feeder Vessel Owner, and the Terminal Operator) according to approved method statements and risk assessment.
- Coordinate with other construction packages.
- Ensure that the WTG Installation Contractors HSE plan is effectively implemented at the load-out port.
- Participate in regular operational safety assessments / safety walks.
- Plan load-out operations and prepare lookahead for port operations (24-hour, 48 hour and 72 hour).
- Ensure work is executed according to method statements and risk assessment.
- Raise or review change requests, including risk assessments.
- Oversee and manage Companys equipment on the feeder vessel and at the load-out port, including planning service / recertification of equipment as required.
- Facilitate MWS and CVA site attendance as required.
- Coordinate and align plans with Companys Installation Managers and Offshore Construction Manager.
- Coordinate the work of the main contractors, i.e., the Terminal Operator, Installation Vessel Owners, Feeder Vessel Owners, and WTG Installation Contractor and liaise with the contractor representatives on site.
- Arrange daily progress / coordination meetings.
- Report progress of construction activities relative to program.
- Record times and prepare Feeder Vessel Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) during loadouts.
- Perform walkdowns and prepare handover documentation in the Digital Inspection Tool (DIT) after completion of load out.
- Monitor progress of the WTG Installation Contractors component delivery, pre-assembly, and readiness for load-out
- Participate in daily offshore site management meetings.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET and EBS (STASS, HEED or EBS)
- Medical certificate including Chester step.
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
