Job Description

A Snapshot of Your Day

Working in a dynamic TEAM setting of evolving requirements based around shipping valuable parts and components in a time critical window for customer support. Interaction with Manufacturing Team members, Logistics providers, Customs clearance agents, and transport drivers on a daily basis.

How Youll Make an Impact

  • Qualified candidate should have experience is processing shipments of goods according to supplied packaging instructions as well as proficiency in Computer Based transactions, mainly but not exclusive to SAP creation of delivery and creation of packing lists, Also online platforms for booking both truck loads, LTL and parcel shipments.
  • Knowledge base should include:
  • Hazardous Materials certification (Ground and Air Freight)
  • International Shipments including CTPAT certification and required Customs form completion
  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency
  • Forklift operation certification
  • Assessing and building small wooden crates as needed
  • Leading others as needed during the shift.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Progress towards 4 year College degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in related field
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
