Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 7-10 technicians engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of generators.
  • Lead onsite (high level) maintenance activities
  • Manage and mentor technicians to ensure high levels of technical proficiency and customer service.
  • Coordinate with parts coordinators to streamline inventory management and ensure timely availability of necessary parts.
  • Work closely with dispatcher teams to optimize scheduling and ensure efficient deployment of resources.
  • Lead on-site maintenance activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting of generators.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and compliance within the team.

Qualifications

  • Generac and/or Kohler Level III certification or comparable technical certifications required.
  • Proven experience in management, maintenance, troubleshooting and field service, particularly in the generator space.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high performing team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to resolving technical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Technical knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Generac certification or relevant technical degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
