Title: Senior Transmission & Interconnection Engineer

Location: US (Remote)

Our Client is an Energy Storage Developer with over 8 GW in their pipeline. They are looking to grow their team and bring in an experienced engineer to focus on their modelling. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with TARA and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform power transmission analysis using TARA or similar tools to identify and address network upgrades in US markets.
• Analyze interconnection reports to improve interconnection efforts from start to finish.
• Automate interconnection studies and workflows with Python
• Serve as an expert on interconnection queues, transmission plans, and tariffs; assist in due diligence for potential transactions.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in power system analysis, specializing in interconnection studies and queue management.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Expertise in either ISO-NE OR PJM and proficiency with TARA, PSCAD, PSSE, and PSLF.
• Strong skills in Python
• Excellent knowledge on Renewable Energy Projects and NERC/FERC policies
