Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

Our client seeks a Sr. Project Development Manager to spearhead projects on the western half of the U.S. during development, including through the management of project teams & working closely with internal & external stakeholders. The Sr. Project Development Manager will focus on a range of areas, from design & engineering to due diligence to interconnection.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage project development through to construction start
• Attend meetings with relevant authorities & consultants
• Develop & track project budgets & schedules
• Assess development items for quality control
• Work cohesively with construction management & engineering
• Ensure all project financial goals are achieved
• Hire & oversee third party partners
• Lead meetings both internally & externally
• Review & approve invoices from external parties
• Support origination initiatives
• Lead bidding for partners & third parties
• Perform due diligence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field
• Experience in solar energy, construction or relevant industry
• Experience developing commercial & industrial renewable energy projects
• Located in Northern California is preferable
• Ability to multitask & work on many projects simultaneously
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Self-driven & highly motivated
• Ability to work well independently & on a team
• Exceptional understanding of solar contracts & project economics
• Project management experience
• Ability to travel as needed
