Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager (Solar Construction) – Hayward, CA

I am working with an established Solar Construction company who are looking to bring in a Senior Project Manager to oversee their new and existing Solar projects in the Northern California region.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and operation of Solar Construction projects.
• Be involved with all aspects of the project including Health & Safety, working with Subcontractors, Project Co-Ordination, Budget, Quality & Efficiency.
• Attend office and site meetings to give updates and understand the progress of each job.
• Assist Engineering, Sales and Estimating on Project duties during the pre-contract phase.
• Some travel within Northern California will be required.

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in related a field.
• Project Management experience on Commercial or Industrial Projects.
• An understanding of the codes and requirements including the National Electric Code (NEC), Uniform Building Code (UBC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) safety guidelines.
• Solar, Photovoltaics, Energy Storage, Electric Vehicle and EV Charging experience is preferred.
• A background working on Construction Projects is preferred.
