Responsible for overseeing and guiding the day-to-day operations of assigned staff, programs and projects. Primarily responsible for overseeing and managing programs or projects in CSE’s Distributed Energy Resources department.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Track and update annual program budgets and ensure employee utilization meets CSE expectations and program needs.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual tasks. Review and update contracts/sub-contracts and execute amendments and extensions, as needed.
- Collaborate with clients, partners, subcontractors and vendors to ensure adherence to statewide policies, consistent processes and communication.
- Provide strategic guidance and assist in drafting regulatory or policy content in consultation with policy team and other Program Administrators when necessary.
- Supervise certain program staff and direct the work of supporting matrix staff.
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices and monthly labor and ODC reports; ensure invoicing is conducted on time and accurately.
- Ensure compliance with CSE and client-mandated audits.
- Identify and participate in industry workshops/conferences/events.
- Provide strategic input on measurement and evaluation activities.
- Create, and approve program reports.
- Ensure adherence to CSE’s PMO requirements and best practices.
- Facilitate coordination across departments, project teams, and staff functions as appropriate.
- Assist in business development by providing content for RFIs, RFQs and RFPs as needed.
- Provide additional support to CSE through special tasks as directed by DER Director.

Preferred
- Experience with advanced DER technology market transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of solar, energy storage and distributed generation technologies.
- Prior experience working in the energy sector with public agencies, utilities and industry stakeholders.
- Experience working with a database and handling complex administrative processes.
- Prior experience with public speaking and giving presentations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years’ related experience.
Licenses, Certificates or Registrations:
PMP Certification or equivalent preferred.
