Summary

Renewable America is looking for a candidate to assist the development team in our Santa Clara office. The candidate will support due diliegence, interconnection, and PV design tasks. Candidates should have the desire to learn quickly in a fast-paced work environment, be self-driven, and be able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities simultaneously. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in renewable energy, with experience in the of solar industry being a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and review PV configurations
  • Design and review single line diagrams
  • Perform voltage drop calculations
  • Simulate annual solar energy production
  • Review impacts to deisign from interconnection application results
  • Analyze critical issues for development through due diliegence process
  • Support team efforts such as responding to RFPs

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Eningeering or related field
  • P.E stamp a bonus
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ARCGIS, AUTOCAD, PVSYST
  • Able to learn new software tools as needed
  • Equally able to work in a team setting or independently
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Motivated, energetic, and willing to learn
