The Role:

The Sr. Senior Electrical Engineer will design, engineer, test, model, and monitor PV systems. The incumbent will also supervise other engineers, generate detailed drawings, compile reports, and mentor new apprentices. Additionally, conduct research and participate in ongoing learning. This position will turn into a director level role once you prove yourself!

Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer IFC for Utility PV solar systems
• Perform power studies including short circuit studies, coordination studies, and arc flash hazard studies
• Develop a design and client review process for commercial, industrial, and utility scale projects
• Develop a standardized set of construction documents utilizing CAD
• Develop specifications, collect data, and complete utility interconnection applications and building permit applications
• Develop detailed equipment specifications
• Coordinate and lead activities between clients, utilities, permit agencies, contractors, and other engineering firms

Essential Skills/Experience:

• 5 years experience designing Issues for Construction utility scale PV
• Knowledge of PV system design
• PE (Highly preferred)
• PVsyst and AutoCAD expertise
• Electrical Engineering Degree
