Job Title: Senior Development Manager

Location: Remote

Salary: $140,000 – $180,000 + 20% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Company Overview:

Join a leading renewable energy company with over 7 GW of operating and under-construction assets across 80+ solar, wind, and battery energy storage system projects in 20 states. Backed by a renowned private equity firm, the company is a market leader with deep expertise in the PJM and Southeast regions. They provide full project development services, guiding projects from Greenfield to NTP.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development and risk mitigation for large-scale renewable energy projects (wind, solar, storage).
• Oversee project tasks across multiple areas, including engineering, real estate, permitting, and environmental compliance.
• Support identification and evaluation of new project opportunities.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and external relationships with vendors, consultants, and local stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and assist in strategic planning to meet project objectives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in developing wind and/or solar projects.
• Experience working with a developer or IPP.
• Strong understanding of the PJM and Northeast energy markets.
• Experience with repower projects is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
