Senior Construction Project Manager – EPC Contractor
Location: Remote, but based in California – MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN CALIFORNIA
Travel: Minimal expectations (25-50%)
Sector: Renewable Energy (Solar, Storage)
Compensation: $150k – $180k + generous cash bonus

Our client is a highly regarded EPC contractor within the renewables sector, currently managing an impressive portfolio of nearly 2GW in contracted projects.
The Role
The ideal candidate will bring deep project management, project control, and project construction experience to lead project execution for a $400M EPC building utility-scale solar and BESS.
Job Functions
- Oversee 2-5 active projects simultaneously, managing client relations and project progress.
- Lead due diligence, construction oversight, and project completion for utility-scale solar, storage, and hybrid projects.
- Collaborate with a team of experts across various technical disciplines to ensure project success.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain budget adherence.
- Foster strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying and pursuing new projects and client opportunities.
- Develop proposals for new business engagements.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market developments.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, adhering to company standards and client specifications.
- Ensure comprehensive risk management strategies are implemented and followed.
Required Skills
- **Essential experience: EPC project management executing utility-scale energy projects (E.G. solar, storage, wind, oil & gas, large industrial projects )**.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory and permitting processes specific to California.
- Strong expertise in project controls and construction methods.
- Demonstrated leadership in optimizing and guiding construction teams towards successful outcomes.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient with project management tools and software.
- Extensive understanding of the EPC industry, including regulatory and compliance standards.
