The Business

At the forefront of the energy storage technology, they are driving electrification of large commercial and utility projects with fully integrated energy storage solutions, complemented by cutting-edge software.

Originating from the ANZ region, they achieved an impressive 50% market share within just 4 years and are now expanding into the US markets. Located just south of Los Angeles (OC), the rapidly growing team is set to double in size by the end of the year, with even more ambitious expansion plans for 2024.

The opportunity

In the midst of a period of remarkable growth, and we’re seeking a Sales Director to play a pivotal role in our journey. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, this is one of the first commercial positions within our company.

The first year will be diverse with exciting challenges as they embrace the startup spirit.

Your primary mission will be to deliver outstanding sales results by providing professional and consultative support to both new and existing clients.

You will specialize in driving sales within the commercial & industrial, and utility Energy Storage System (ESS) space, while also collaborating with channel partners to deliver ESS solutions for projects, tenders, and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) deals.

What we need:

  • A background in sales or business development, particularly within battery energy storage or related fields.
  • Several years experience selling into C&I / utility
  • An individual excited about the opportunity for high growth within an established organization.
  • A strategic thinker with a relentless, long-term mindset.
  • A strong understanding of and interest in the renewable energy markets.
  • A proven track record of driving sales growth.
