Sales Engineer – East VA/PA/NC/SC (Remote)

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

About the Company: Our client, a leading provider of power system protection and fault recording products, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. With a focus on select market areas, this company is committed to continued growth and innovation in the power industry.

Responsibilities: As a Sales Engineer representing our client, you will:

  • Identify target markets and customers for promoting power system protection and fault recording products and solutions.
  • Expand the customer base within assigned market segments to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans for designated market segments.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to implement effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the company’s products and solutions, as well as competitor offerings.
  • Engage with customers through various communication channels, including visits, demonstrations, and training sessions.
  • Provide support and resolution for customer inquiries and concerns in collaboration with technical support teams.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of proposals for products, services, and systems.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and promotional events.
  • Manage assigned projects, ensuring completion within schedule and budget.

Qualifications:

  • Degreed not required, but is a plus
  • experience in electric power systems and practices.
  • Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in business software and computer skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug test may be required for employment.

Location and Travel: This position is remote, based in the Eastern region. Travel of up to 50% may be required.

This position is a full time, direct hire opportunity. It comes with a competitive base salary, commission, insurance stipend, car allowance, AMEX for all travel/expense, and MORE!
