Description

Location: United States (Remote), frequent visits to Texas.

We are partnered with a leader in the solar energy industry, is in search of a Sales Director to command sales operations across North America. The company has successfully deployed over 5 GW of tracker systems in 9+ countries. The company’s products are designed for optimal constructability, significantly reducing construction costs and risks.

The Role

Responsibilities

  • The Sales Director will lead sales initiatives across the US, achieve sales targets and expand market scope.
  • Reports to the VP of Sales.
  • Develop sales strategies that align with the business goals.
  • Lead and scale sales campaigns.
  • Build/maintain customer relationships.
  • Partner with stakeholders to increase company visibility.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Identify emerging markets and potential partners.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management of sales operations.
  • Track and report sales performance metrics

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of experience as a Sales Director or in similar leadership roles in the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to surpass sales targets.
  • Knowledge of solar modules, inverters, and IT hardware.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA is preferred.
