Job Description

Job Title: Sales Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to drive the achievement of both tactical and strategic sales objectives within a defined geographical territory, specifically targeting Aerospace and Defense clients. The role involves building and nurturing multi-level relationships, providing valuable market insights, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain profitable, professional relationships with customers through structured, focused programs.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, while supporting long-term strategy for repeat business.
  • Train and manage representatives/agents and assist them in creating new opportunities in assigned territories.
  • Grow sales volume through regular travel, customer engagement, technical assistance, and product support.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals in response to RFQs for both military and commercial programs.
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and support, and promote sales of energy storage and power conversion products to OEMs and Aftermarket customers.
  • Provide weekly and monthly progress updates for forecasting purposes and contribute to the design and marketing of new products.
  • Deliver a yearly Sales/Business Plan outlining goals, key customers, and strategies to increase sales and support both new and existing customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • 5-7 years of technical sales experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment with strong self-motivation.
  • Comfortable collaborating with engineering, service, marketing, and customer care teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time or more.
