Safety Manager

Description:

We are seeking a QA/QC Manager/ Safety Manager to join a dynamic C&I solar EPC start-up in their growth phase. They are focused on constructing commercial solar rooftops on the East Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct on-site visits to identify and address safety risks.

– Support site supervisors by monitoring safety practices and ensuring OSHA 30+ compliance.

– Deliver safety training to employees and subcontractors.

– Contribute to safety reports, action plans, and risk assessments.

– Coordinate third-party inspections and comply with manufacturer warranty requirements.

– Maintain quality control, especially on new projects, to prevent quality issues.

– Work with site supervisors to resolve punch list items and manage safety.

Qualifications:

– Experience in safety management for construction, industrial, or solar projects.

– OSHA 30+ certification or equivalent; additional safety certifications are a plus.

– Strong background in quality assurance and control.

– Willingness to travel frequently for inspections.

– Experience managing subcontractors and site staff to ensure best practices.
