The Returnable Drum Filler is responsible for filling returnable drums in accordance with the customers and/or companys specifications. In addition to the Essential Functions below, he or she is responsible for any task the Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Group Leader deems necessary.

This will be a 3rd shift position. 3rd shift is 11:00pm – 7:30am (Sunday night – Friday morning). Occasional overtime may be required.


E
ssential Functions:

  • Work collaboratively with all Team Members.
  • Inspect returnable drums for damage prior to filling, report damaged drums to the Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Group Leader.
  • Fill returnable drums in accordance with MS 8.5/3-82.
  • Run process to maximize product quality and output.
  • Keep assigned work area and equipment clean and orderly.
  • Ensure safety apparatus are in place.
  • Perform real-time reporting in SAP and complete production reports daily.
  • Inform the Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Group Leader of any safety or maintenance concerns.
  • Verify magna press seal is free of defects prior to use and verify air valves are working properly.
  • Pull plates from expired drums.
  • Ability to operate fork lift

Ex

Starting Wage:

  • $17.50 per hour base rate
  • $2.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift ($19.50 per hour)
