Job Description
Tradeco Construction is currently seeking Residential Rooftop Solar Installers for upcoming projects in and around Syracuse NY.
This is predominantly new residential rooftop builds.
As an Installer, you will be responsible for day-to-day field installation of mechanical hardware, racking components, wiring assemblies, and solar modules.
Must be able to work 40-60hrs./week (weather permitting)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in PV installations, general construction, and carpentry strongly preferred
- Experience with the safe use of hand held and power tools
- Interest in safety is a must; OSHA 10 preferred (we can assist with this)
- Work safely on roofs for extended periods of time.
- Ascend and descend from ladders comfortably.
- Work in tight spaces such as attics and roofs
- Must be able to work in extreme weather/field conditions including cold, wet, & muddy
- Proper attire, language, appearance in front of customers at all times
- Installation of PV modules to structures in compliance with schematics
- Must be able to lift 50Lbs.
