Job Description

The Field Project Coordinator (FPC) is responsible for owning the field operations/installation side of their assigned projects ensuring that they are installed safely, accurately, completely and within the estimated timeline. Field Project Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for crewmembers for technical and logistics topics
  • Creates Job Folders
  • Printing Designs and Posting Permits
  • Arranging delivery of heavy equipment and dig rite
  • Final close out of projects/checklist submissions
  • Executes Residential Technical Onsites as needed
  • Sets up solar monitoring sites as needed
  • Interacts with clients at their home and businesses
  • Quality Control Installations
  • Meet with AHJ and Utility Inspectors
  • Troubleshoot technical issues at job sites
  • Provide excellent customer communication / customer service
  • Maintain pace intensity to match the needs of the design team
  • Work with the Safety Manager to keep job sites safe and OSHA compliant.
  • Other duties as required

Field Project Coordinator Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of solar and installation/code requirements.
  • Minimum 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Familiar with safety protocols and policies.
  • Solution-minded, and always looking for ways to improve efficiency and communication.
  • Computer technology skills, CRM experience, Microsoft Office, and Google apps such as Gmail.
  • Clean driving record with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Self-starter while managing numerous priorities.
  • OSHA 10 safety certification.

Field Project Coordinator Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • OSHA 30
  • NABCEP Certification
  • Leadership Training

Field Project Coordinator Physical Requirements:

  • Lift 75 pounds
  • Navigate heights with uneven surfaces
  • Climb ladders
  • Sit in vehicle while driving long distances
  • Carry loads on pitched roofs
  • Tolerate working in inclement weather
  • Crawl in tight spaces

Field Project Coordinator Position Information:

  • Department: Field Operations
  • Supervisor: Chris Moore
  • Experience: 3+ years solar experience
  • Full Time: An estimated 45-50 hours per week depending on the time of year.
  • Pay Structure: Salary position, paid twice a month.
  • Salary range depending on experience: $65-75,000 annually
  • Work Schedule: 5 Days Per Week M-F

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
