What is a Solar Account Executive?
Solar Account Executive conduct Solar consultations with homeowners to analyze their electricity usage, explain the energy offset and incentives they may qualify for before presenting them with a customized Solar Proposal . You will be a partner to the customers and act as the liaison through the entire process. Daily leads will be provided for you by the number the #1 Solar Setter team in NYC . The role has two built in career paths, one for a Sr Solar Account Executive and the other for District Sales Management overseeing a team of 2-5 account executives

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales presentations with prospective customers in their home
  • Educate potential clients about the benefits of solarsaving + environment
  • Analyze electricity usage to confirm customer wants and needs while developing rapport to enable you to close the sale
  • Manage accounts from an initial consultation to the installation
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience
  • Participate in ongoing training camps focused on increasing your earning potential, team building, and mentoring from our leaders

Income Expectation:
  • Minimum OTE based on performance – $140k to $200k
  • Performance bonuses

Daily direct marketing leads are provided
Potential to get promoted into Senior Solar Consultant within 12 months


Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in Solar sales and canvassing preferred
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred
  • Positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Outgoing personality
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; own vehicle
  • Efficiently communicate proposals during in-home presentations
  • Effective computer skill to update and maintain flow of information throughout our CRM and ability to communicate through multiple platforms (i.e. Email, Slack, WhatsApp)
  • Need to be comfortable discussing finances and tax liability with homeowners.

Competitive salary starting $150,000-$200,000 +; Base, commissions, bonuses
