We are pioneering the industry with over 9GW of projects in development and expanding our Project Development Team across the United States. Currently, we are seeking multiple Project Development Associates based on a regional strategy (West, Central, East).

Responsibilities

Identify, research, and assess land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects through collaborative efforts with landowners and community stakeholders.

Lead initiatives related to site acquisition, financing, and development of utility-scale energy storage and renewable energy projects, including responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals).

Negotiate site control agreements with landowners for renewable energy and energy storage projects.

Support development activities for new and ongoing projects in our portfolio, focusing on tax abatement, permitting, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, battery storage, LNG, or natural gas, working with IPPs/Developers/Owners.

Extensive hands-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts within renewables, natural gas, LNG, or energy storage sectors.

Strong understanding of the RFP/RFI process in project development.

Proficiency in project siting, permitting, prospecting, and due diligence for utility-scale renewable (solar, wind, battery storage) projects.

Experience in site prospecting, land negotiations, and project financing initiatives.

Exposure or project experience in energy storage, battery storage, or solar + storage is highly advantageous.

Excellent Communication Skills Essential For Efficient Role Execution.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
