Responsibilities include achieving expertise in defining project scopes of work, project budgeting, project proposals, project management, and scheduling; planning and developing renewable energy projects that address unique or unusual problems impacting ECI’s performance and reputation; fully responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating work assignments; maintain liaison with professionals and associates within and outside ECI to remain technically current on a wide variety of renewable energy topics; plan, organize, and supervise project teams in performance of engineering work; demonstrate technical excellence through recognized positions of authority and responsibility on technical committees, working groups, and societies, or alternatively, author and publish/present technical papers or seminars; maintain autonomous QA/QC responsibility in primary technical areas; fully responsible for managing groups of engineers, technicians, and other project support team members of various sizes.
Minimum Requirements: BSCE or BSEE and 6 years’ experience, or a M.S. degree in engineering with sufficient experience required for advancement as determined by management, or a combination of applicable education and experience as determined by management); demonstrated capability to effectively perform project management for large size engineering projects in a hands-on manner. The successful applicant must have proven effective verbal and written communication skills, proven excellent level of interpersonal skills, and ability to work individually and on a team. Must be detail oriented and possess a high level of organizational skills. Must possess a proven ability to work with confidential information and proven ability to exercise independent judgment. The successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving will be required.
