Renewable Land Acquisition Specialist

I am currently supporting an international renewable IPP with a global portfolio exceeding 10GW with projects in Solar/Storage/Wind. As they expand their US operations I am looking to speak with land acquisition specialists in Central and Northeast regions regarding multiple opportunities in a growing land team.

This is a great opportunity for renewable land professionals to join a global name in the US and a chance for land professionals in oil and gas, telecommunications and real estate to transition into the renewable space.

Responsibilities

• Identifying suitable land for utility scale solar, storage and wind projects.
• Contact and liaise with land owners throughout land acquisition process.
• Negotiate leases and other documents in relation to land control.
• Coordinate and report to inhouse development team.
• Use real estate, legal, governmental standards and regulatory concepts in examination of prospect sites.

Experience required

• Minimum 5 years experience in land acquisition, development, planning or real estate
• Ideally at least 1 year experience in renewable land development, planning and acquisition
• Ability to identify, build and maintain relationships with prospect landowners
• Able to communicate and negotiate in relation to land control, lease options and right-of-way agreements.
• Experience within Central and/or Northeast US
