Key Responsibilities:
As a Renewable Energy Developer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to reduce carbon emissions and accelerate the energy transition.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Development: Collaborating closely with our team to identify, evaluate, and manage renewable energy projects from inception through to completion. This involves site selection, negotiating agreements with landowners, interfacing with utilities and system operators, and securing necessary project permits.
- Origination: Actively sourcing power purchase agreements through market research and cultivating strategic partnerships with power purchasers.
- Power Marketing: Leading efforts in marketing and selling renewable energy from our projects, working closely with utilities and corporate clients.
- Legal Support: Providing legal insights and collaborating with legal counsel on renewable energy transactions and contracts.
- Mergers and Acquisitions: Participating in the evaluation and execution of project and portfolio sales, as well as assessing joint venture opportunities with utilities and independent power producers.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, environmental studies, or a related field. Preferably an MBA or JD.
- A strong passion for renewable energy and business development. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a creative approach to challenges.
- Ability to adapt and handle diverse project requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
