We are a law firm that specializes in providing legal services to renewable energy project developers, owners, and operators in support of the development, financing, construction, and operation of utility-scale wind, solar, energy storage, and green fuels projects.

Job Description

We are seeking counsel to assist with corporate and real estate transactions in connection with the development, financing, construction, and operation of utility-scale wind, solar, energy storage, and green fuels projects.

Requirements

Strong interest in renewable energy projects and the field of law.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Excellent, detail-oriented, high-accuracy writing skills.

Ability to project a positive image of the firm and maintain positive relationships.

Law firm and/or in-house corporate and/or commercial real estate experience.

Strong grasp of contract terms, and legal and commercial issues.

Juris Doctor degree and active bar admission.

Primary Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, engagement letters, leases, easements, option agreements, and purchase agreements.

Pull deeds, review property ownership, and draft legal descriptions.

Review title and survey, address title and survey matters, and draft and pursue title curative documents.

Lead and support a variety of corporate and real estate transactions.

Advise clients with respect to legal and commercial issues.

Support project financing and M&A transactions.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 – $160.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
