Join our esteemed Grid Software team as a Senior Power Systems Consultant, where you will play a pivotal role in the integration of renewable energy, advanced grid technologies, and storage solutions into electrical systems. This is a remote position available for candidates located in the contiguous U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute transmission planning utilizing power system planning principles to simulate and evaluate the grid’s steady-state and dynamic behavior.
- Prepare thorough reports that articulate your analyses, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with focused project teams to provide high-quality deliverables on schedule and within budget.
- Develop automation scripts to enhance the efficiency and precision of simulations.
- Assist in proposal development by generating project plans, financial estimates, and timelines.
- Offer technical consulting and direct training services for clients.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, concentrating on Power and Energy Systems.
- At least 3 years of experience within the electric power sector.
- Practical expertise in transmission system planning or operations, coupled with experience in analyzing power flow and dynamic stability using software tools such as PSSE, TARA, or TSAT.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in Power System Consulting.
- Previous transmission system planning or operational experience, particularly in the MISO or SPP regions.
- An advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power and Energy Systems is advantageous.

Compensation And Benefits
- The salary range for this position is (81,130 to )169,680, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
