Position Title: HR Recruiting Coordinator

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Senior Supervisor, Recruiting, Human Resources

Description:

Canadian Solar, a global leader in the solar energy industry, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Recruiting Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. As a vital part of our talent acquisition process, you will play a key role in attracting, selecting, and onboarding top-tier candidates to support our continued growth and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR team and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create comprehensive job descriptions.
  • Source potential candidates through online channels, social media, networking, and industry events.
  • Process new requisition requests, create new personnel files.
  • Assist in conducting interviews and reference checks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters and employment agreements.
  • Coordinate background checks and ensure compliance with all hiring regulations.
  • Assist in organizing career fairs, recruitment events, and other employer branding initiatives.
  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining HR documents and databases.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a recruiting coordinator or similar HR role.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A passion for renewable energy and the solar industry is a plus.
