Description:As a Quality Specialist at Takkion, you won’t just be another cog in the machine you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, working alongside industry leaders and field teams who are shaping the future of renewable energy. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in managing cutting-edge projects in wind and solar, from pre-construction planning to final inspection.

Responsibilities:*

  • Pre-Construction Efforts: Dive into pre-construction efforts, mapping out project sites and laying the groundwork for success. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and assist in site planning, ensuring every detail is meticulously accounted for.
  • Quality Inspections: Execute thorough quality inspections throughout project lifecycles, documenting wind turbine pre-existing conditions, component delivery, assembly, installation, and post-installation conditions. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that every aspect of the project meets our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Be the backbone of our quality control processes, utilizing your expertise to ensure top-notch installations and adherence to project execution plans. You’ll lead by example, ensuring that all team members are aligned with our commitment to excellence.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory processes with precision, overseeing material arrival, inspection, offloading, and storage. Your organizational skills will ensure that materials are readily available when needed, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
  • Customer Liaison: Act as a liaison between our team and the customer, providing updates and ensuring their satisfaction every step of the way. You’ll coordinate final inspections and punch list processes, compiling turnover documentation for transfer to the customer and ensuring a smooth handoff.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Willingness to learn and grow. * -An active GWO Basic Safety Training certificate is preferred.

  • Have a keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving. Your ability to identify and address quality issues will be critical to the success of our projects.
  • Embrace the physical demands of the job, including climbing WTGs and being hands-on in the field. Your willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done will set you apart.
  • Excel in Microsoft Office Suites, proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint will be essential for managing project documentation.
  • Strong communication Skills.

Additional Details & Benefits:

  • 6 weeks on-site/1-week off-site rotation schedule.
  • Paid Per Diem while traveling
