Our Global Procurement team is looking for a highly motivated and exceptional Purchasing/Supply Chain Manager who can establish and improve Doosan GridTech’s robust purchasing/supply chain processes utilizing professional supply chain knowledge and analysis-driven strategies for Doosan GridTech’s BESS projects and ultimately contribute a step forward for Doosan GridTech’s mission to create a cleaner world. In this role, Purchasing/Supply Chain manager is responsible for commercial and supply chain aspects of Doosan GridTech’s energy storage integration projects by developing strong purchasing/supply chain strategies and working closely with cross functional teams to ensure successful project executions.

This role is a remote position in the United States, and reports to the Director of Global Procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the procure-to-pay process of direct & indirect purchases including creating purchase requisition and approval, monitoring purchasing order creation, on time delivery of goods, and clearing any procurement issues.
  • Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP for indirect and direct purchases.
  • Develop sourcing strategies by analyzing the supply base, market conditions, competitors’ trends, and technology roadmaps.
  • Expand our supplier base and own the supplier qualification process.
  • Lead negotiation for commercial terms, including pricing and contract execution.
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of supplier, including cost breakdown and cost analysis.
  • Actively manage supplier relationships and performance through key performance metrics.
  • Work closely with the bids and proposal team to coordinate and submit costs for potential project opportunities.
  • Work closely with the engineering and project management teams for successful project completion.
  • Monitor and oversee supply chain risk for commodities.
  • Other duties as required by company and team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Experience in procuring energy storage equipment and Software/Hardware strongly preferred.
  • Experience in contract executions such as MSA, MPA and SOW.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external customers.
  • Strong negotiation and communication capabilities.
  • Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, etc.).

Desired

  • Experience in procuring energy storage equipment and Software/Hardware strongly preferred.
  • Oracle NetSuite experience.
  • CSCP-certified supply chain professional or other relevant certificates.
  • Willing to travel domestically and/or internationally as required.
  • Passion for supply chain and empathy toward humanity and earth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Solid working experience in contract executions i.e., MSA, MPA, and SOW.
