Mission: The Project Manager will be responsible for guiding Clients through our design process as the main point of contact and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The Project manager will relay client/project requests and prioritize with our internal team of Sr. and Jr. Engineers to ensure our clients project deliverables are provided in a satisfactory manner.

This position will report to the Sr. Client Manager and the Co-CEOs.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Lead the planning and execution of projects by guiding all phases of large-scale solar PV projects, from initial planning to successful completion.
  • Serve as the main client liaison by managing client expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assemble project proposals including scope coordination, negotiations, and review
  • Organize design process with Clients including kick-offs, project document organization and filing, meetings, and email response
  • Coordinate with Sr. Engineers for internal management of design teams
  • Manage external engineering disciplines and deliverables as required
  • Manage external requests, tracking of RFIs, and other client requests
  • Assistance with sales and business development tasks

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing utility-scale PV projects or in a construction management role.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, including experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship management.
  • Experience in business-to-business sales or development for large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to achieving project goals and maintaining high standards of quality.

Preferred:

  • Background in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP certification).
  • Experience with large-scale solar project development and execution in a consulting or engineering firm.
  • Strong understanding of utility-scale solar PV systems, including design, implementation, and operational aspects.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
