Overview

TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country’s most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence.

TRC desires to hire a Project Manager 1 focused on Pipeline management to support the Multifamily implementation of the IRA(Inflation Reduction Act) HEAR/HER (Home Energy Rebate) programs, requiring very detail-oriented project managers intimately familiar with each project.

Responsibilities

  • Support the continuous improvement of existing programs in the multifamily sector.
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion; including scope, schedule and budgets.
  • Manage and develop relationships & increase coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Manage contractors and program support agreements.
  • Resolve issues which may arise regarding assigned projects with applicants or consultants.
  • Support the development of PONs (Program Opportunity Notice) and RFPs (Request for Proposal).
  • Participate in a process to test, measure and adjust to maximize success Advanced data analysis to support reporting, program improvement and new strategy development.
  • Participate in the evaluation of program effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the key outcomes for the Multifamily Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, policy, public or business administration, architecture, real estate, urban planning, or related field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to successfully multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing scope, schedule, and budget of project agreements and other program support agreements.
  • Proven ability to support strategic market engagement and partnership development.
  • Skilled in facilitating and executing continuous improvement of program rules and business processes.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for external and customer communications.
  • Ability to coordinate with other departments to support projects and development or refinement of strategies and processes.
  • Self-starter who functions well independently and in teams.
  • Ability to synthesize information, including stakeholder feedback, white
  • Program implementation experience, especially for programs that require installation/construction of clean energy technology OR for programs that provide technical assistance for clean energy projects.
  • Some knowledge of energy-consuming systems commonly found in multifamily buildings, including but not limited to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technologies, lighting and building envelope.
  • Some knowledge of energy conservation measures in deep retrofit energy efficiency projects for existing multifamily buildings (e.g. Passive House, heat pumps, etc.) plus paper research, and policy documents.
  • Proficient in developing clear and compelling presentations.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Familiarity with NEIS financial and contract management platform, Buildings Portal, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Preferred any previous experience as a Project Manager or certification in Project Management (CAPM or PMP) and CEM or CEA.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $60,000.00 – USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
