Overview:

TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our countrys most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence.

TRC desires to hire a Project Manager 1 to support the management of legacy open-enrollment housing and commercial projects, management of existing and future projects selected through competitive offerings such as the Building Cleaner Communities Competition (BCCC) for commercial sector projects and the Buildings of Excellence Competition (BOE) for multifamily projects may also be required. General project management, ranging from completing contracting tasks through

to project termination or closeout is also anticipated.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage current pipeline of projects submitted to New Construction Housing and Commercial legacy programs to completion;
  • Set deadlines and track progress for ongoing projects to submit deliverables, meet milestones, and advance toward completion;
  • Complete technical review of technical assistance provider scopes of work and project deliverables;
  • Coordinate closeout of terminated or completed projects;
  • Maintain extensive online database of legacy projects, including data entry, energy savings, project construction status, deliverable tracking, and invoice approval;
  • Engage with market actors, including building owners, developers, technical assistance providers, and designers;
  • Provide prompt feedback/follow up to inquiries received from project teams;
  • Participate in regular meetings with project teams;
  • Escalate project questions or concerns to internal staff as needed for resolution;
  • Participate in regular internal meetings with New Construction team staff, including fellow pipeline project managers as well as supervisors;
  • Assist in meeting periodic reporting requests;
  • Support business process improvement efforts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Project management expertise, including setting and tracking deadlines, budget oversight, and deliverable management.
  • Ability to prioritize among multiple and competing deadlines.
  • Experience with rebate/incentive programs.
  • Basic knowledge of clean, resilient, and carbon-neutral ready building projects, including energy-efficient equipment and renewable energy systems, architectural and engineering design, building system specification, and construction practices and timelines.
  • Familiarity with third-party building certification standards such as Passive House and Energy Star, and design strategies associated with those certifications.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, MS Office 365 suite of programs, WebEx platform, and NEIS.

Compensation
: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:
Employee may be eligible for participation in the Companys annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range: USD $56,222.22 – USD $84,988.00 /Yr.
