One80 Solar is a professional solar energy firm focused on the development, design & engineering, construction, and operation of commercial, industrial, and small utility-scale solar power plants. We are headquartered in San Antonio and service clients nationwide.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Solar Energy Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of our commercial-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
- Execution Management: Lead project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, control expenditures, and optimize resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
Location: San Antonio / Austin Texas
Necessary Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience
- Certification: PMP, CCM, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project management software
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to anticipate and resolve issues effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of and experience in the solar industry,
- Familiarity with IT and data communications
