📌 Position Title: Project Manager (Battery Energy Storage Projects)

🌍 Location: Remote (Must be based in Texas or Illinois)

🔍 Position Summary:

The BESS Project Manager will oversee the entire project life cycle from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and maintaining quality standards. This role involves leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to execute utility-scale BESS projects, with a focus on the ERCOT and/or MISO market. The position offers remote work flexibility, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of BESS projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to meet project requirements.
• Oversee substation design and integration within the project scope.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control processes.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other relevant regulations.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the project team.

📋 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing the entire project lifecycle of BESS or similar construction projects.
• Experience in BESS project management or construction management within the ERCOT market.
• Knowledge of substation design and experience with utility-scale projects.
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
