Job Description

Foster Lawson are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Project Manager for a leading client in the Renewable Energy space. The Project Manager will have the responsibility for overseeing all aspects of project management, including operational, financial, customer, and employee strategies. Applicants must have a passionate, hard-working attitude towards the renewable energy business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee and direct all construction activities for solar, wind, and BESS projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement robust operational strategies to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of directors, vice presidents, and project managers.
  • Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive growth and enhance our market position.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to achieve company objectives and maximize profitability.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project and organizational success.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Promote continuous improvement and innovation in construction practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction/engineering industry, with a strong background in utility-scale solar, wind, or BESS projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing large-scale renewable energy projects, driving operational efficiency, and achieving financial targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with experience managing large, diverse teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify and secure new project opportunities.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel nationally to project sites, conferences on a regular basis.
