Project Finance Associate

Our client is a developer, owner, and operator focused on utility-scale Solar, Wind and Battery storage projects in North America. The team has decades of experience in renewables project development, financing, construction, and operations. It is currently managing and progressing a significant portfolio of operational and development-stage renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate potential project financing partners and the terms/economics
• Support the transaction negotiation with tax equity/debt financing partners
• Lead the due diligence and financing closing process with external providers
• Assist the development team on early-stage development opportunities
• Evaluate M&A opportunities for the company
• Build and maintain financial models

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or math-related field preferred
• Experience working with financial models for renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Storage, etc.)
• 2-5 years of work experience after undergraduate degree preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of and passion for the solar marketplace, technology, and industry
