What You’ll Do

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional with expertise in energy and transportation electrification to join our team as the Program Manager, Transportation Electrification. In this role, you will spearhead innovative initiatives aimed at advancing clean energy transportation, focusing on hard-to-reach customers, municipal fleets, and public charging accessibility in our service areas.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management: Own and manage the Transportation Electrification Program, overseeing metrics, budgets, and contractor scopes of work to ensure compliance and successful delivery.

Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary expert on EV charging and transportation electrification, driving program enhancements and future roadmap initiatives.

Regulatory Knowledge: Act as the subject matter expert on customer programs, staying abreast of compliance and regulatory developments at CPUC, CAISO, and other relevant bodies.

Reporting and Presentations: Prepare written reports and deliver oral presentations to senior management, board committees, customers, and industry groups.

Analytics and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop metrics to measure program effectiveness, analyze outcomes, and engage stakeholders to support program success and outreach efforts.

Marketing and Outreach: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote program opportunities and develop targeted outreach strategies for customer acquisition.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in energy and/or transportation electrification program or project management.

Strong background in managing complex projects or initiatives.

Direct experience with transportation electrification, electric vehicles, or EV charging equipment preferred.

Familiarity with CPUC, CARB, CEC policies related to transportation electrification.

Knowledge of utility program implementation, resiliency, grid management, and local procurement practices is advantageous.

Work Location

This position offers Hybrid or Remote work options. Hybrid requires 2-3 days in our Downtown Los Angeles office with a transportation allowance. Full-time staff attend organization events 3 times a year for 3-5 days per event.
