Job Summary

The Program Management team is looking for motivated individuals who can work across all functions in order to achieve the companies’ goals. Your focus as a Program Manager will be to oversee cost, timing, and resources of your programs to ensure program success.

You should enjoy working on a team where you own the entirety of the program and need to identify and fill gaps within cross functional areas. We are working on groundbreaking technologies, so you will need to be energetic, adaptable, and a fast learner who quickly makes decisions judgments with limited information. As a founding member of this group, you will also play a crucial role in growing the team to meet continuously evolving challenges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads ONEs Grid Scale Energy Storage Program Management
  • Will be responsible for working with the team to develop budget, staffing, and timing needed to execute the program
  • Will be responsible for holding weekly meetings, program reviews and gate reviews to ensure the project deliverable are being met
  • Responsible for managing change management from a non-technical standpoint and the various impacts that changes have outside of the engineering change (finance, manufacturing, quality, etc.)
  • Responsible for managing customers for your Grid program
  • Identifies risks to the program and works to quickly solve these issues with transparency to the program and leadership
  • Performs any additional duties as assigned

Within 3 months you will:

  • Leading a Grid development program
  • Leading a gate review and establishing the business case for the program you will lead
  • Develop internal tools and capabilities to accelerate future projects
  • Becomes familiar with the ONE team and established products

Within 6 months you will:

  • Working with the engineering team on a pilot Grid Deliverable.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to plan and execute overall project delivery
  • Mentoring junior engineers/project managers on program management process
  • Leading customer meetings for your grid program

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

You should be familiar with all, proficient with many, and expert at some of the following, in no particular order:

  • S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree field
  • 5+ years of experience in ESS engineering or program management
  • Understanding of the Grid Storage certification process and requirements
  • Experience in leading programs from conceptual design through full rate production.
  • Experience with the engineering development process as well as the process of all key stakeholders in the organization.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and to operate under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills

Work Schedule

  • Full-time 40 hours and generally scheduled Monday through Friday 9am-6pm EST
  • Flexible work schedule and environment, see company policy if applicable.
  • Work schedule to be established with supervisor to ensure Company’s client and business needs are met
