Role Description

As Program Manager, Business Operations, you’ll report to the Portfolio Manager, Business Operations within Form’s Program Management Office. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the successful completion of large-scale, cross-functional projects critical to Form Energy’s scale-up initiatives. You will act as a liaison between the Operations, Finance, People, Site Operations, and Software teams. This role will pave the way for growth opportunities and impactful contributions within the organization by focusing on data-driven decision-making, strategic intervention, special projects, surge planning, and operational interventions. This role offers a unique opportunity for career advancement and high visibility, with the potential to shape the future direction of our company’s operations and success.

This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV.

What You’ll Do

  • Successfully lead complex, high-impact cross-functional projects to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, specifically focusing on business operations scale-up initiatives and corporate enablement programs.
  • Serve as a key member in defining and implementing new processes from scratch to build operational excellence within Form Energy, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Enhance visibility and foster consensus among a broad group of stakeholders, including but not limited to Operations, Finance, People, Site Operations, Software, and Analytics, to ensure cohesive and efficient execution of business operations.
  • Organize and conduct project meetings, establish clear communication channels, engage both internal and external stakeholders, document action items, and deliver comprehensive project reports.
  • Quickly engage in high-priority special projects that are critical to achieving Form Energy’s strategic objectives, demonstrating agility and responsiveness to organizational needs.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, actively encouraging innovative solutions and constructive feedback from all levels of the team, fostering a dynamic and responsive business operations environment.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated success in managing cross-functional and complex programs, products, or projects within dynamic manufacturing environments.
  • Excels when working in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
  • Proven experience in leading large teams (20+) across functions, with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate diverse groups.
  • Enthusiasm and drive to spearhead critical initiatives, whether broad or narrow in scope, to successful completion.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities, including the capability to deliver compelling presentations and updates to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Track record of involvement in launching novel manufacturing operations lines or establishing new factories.
  • Experience with program management tools including: Jira, G-suite, Smartsheet etc.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools including: Sigma, Quickbase, Tableau etc.
  • Previous experience at a battery startup would be advantageous.
