We are looking to add an experienced VPP Program Administrator to our Energy Services Team here at Fortress Power! This individual will collaborate with engineers, sales, support, marketing, partners, and end customers to oversee the operations of multiple VPP programs. This role will include responsibilities related to internal process improvement and will have the opportunity to assist in all aspects of the company’s activities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate project workflows using internally developed software
- Oversee customer applications, contracts, and enrollment
- Collaborate with external partners and customers to efficiently implement processes for new projects
- Create or delegate process improvement solutions for continuous efficiency enhancement
- Outline tasks and deliverables for multiple, simultaneous projects
- Monitor project progress through PM tool and direct communication with the team, holding each team accountable for deliverables and milestones
- Monitor for early signs of potential issues or bottlenecks
- Regularly run processes to report system performance to partners or other stakeholders
- Support C&I projects to ensure they stay on track with schedule
Required Qualifications:
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to multitask and prioritize simultaneous projects
- Strong independent worker who can drive outcomes with minimal oversight
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Project or program management experience
- Ability to understand technical information and communicate information to non-experts
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with agile project management tools and processes
- At least one (1) year of experience in solar industry or other renewable energy fields
- Marketing experience
- Obsess over the details and create structured plans/ processes for each project
