The Product Manager in the Product Service & Management division coordinates and drives product concepts or strategies among various stakeholders, including sales organization, development organization, and organizations of Qcells’ downstream businesses for residential solar systems such as rooftop solar, inverter, and battery. The main task is to collect and organize requirements from each stakeholder, deliver them to the engineering and development organizations, and coordinate product functions and schedules between the sales and development teams to ensure optimized product development and re-lease. This position conducts research, plan and launch the rooftop solar, inverter, battery, and other home electrification solution for homeowner to support various sales organization (direct consumer sales unit, B2B sales unit, third party ownership business unit, energy service unit) under Residential Division. This position interactively works with marketing, sales, engineering, and research & development organization in HQCA and Hanwha Qcells HQ (Seoul, San Francisco).
This position may include a comprehensive product marketing role that ensures that products are properly launched, and customers can utilize them appropriately across the various design tools and software platforms used in the U.S. residential market. It also may derive the optimal combination and development plan of software tools that can benefit customers and Qcells.
Hanwha Qcells is global company and sometimes need to work in different time zone to com-municate with other teams in Korea and/or other countries. Responsibilities include market trend research, competitors’ analysis, product planning / launching / training, and optimal product configuration introduction to the residential energy market for the homeowner.
This position is hybrid and requires flexibility to support travel for multiple projects in various geographical regions up to 50% of the year.
