Title: Principal Consultant: Grid Integration Renewable

Location: Remote

Salary: $150,000-$170,000 + Bonus

Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a meaningful impact on the world? We’re seeking a talented Interconnection expert to join our client’s dynamic team, focusing on Utility scale PV and BESS projects.

Role Overview:

In the role you’ll play a pivotal role for a market leading consultancy firm who needs someone to provide strategy for RTO communication and managing all power system studies and transmission analysis. The ideal candidate in this role will have had experience both with a consultancy firm and Utility/ developer so can bridge the two sides in the role well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Client relations and advise on all interconnection and grid related studies/concerns. Showing expertise with market trends and policies (ERCOT preferred)
• Manage and Approve power system studies including stability, feasibility and cost modeling.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and Tariffs including costs and queues.
• Work closely with Engineering and Development team to provide Interconnection Assistance when needed.
• Successfully manage multiple interconnection points across different regions and clients

Requirements:

• 8+ years within Transmission and Interconnection preferably at a Developer/IPP/Utility AND a consultancy
• Strong understanding of Power System Studies and Software (PSCAD/ PSLF)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong market experience within ERCOT
• Previous success in managing power system consultants.
