Summary:

The Portfolio Scheduler plays a critical role within our Projects division, responsible for establishing, maintaining and continuously improving standardized project scheduling practices across our portfolio of battery energy storage system projects. This role bridges the gap between pre-contract planning and post-contract execution, ensuring that project schedules align with contractual milestones, obligations and overall company objectives.

Job Details:

  • Develop, implement and maintain standardized project scheduling protocols, templates, tools and best practices to ensure consistency across all projects
  • Continuously refine scheduling processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and alignment with evolving company goals and industry standards
  • Work closely with sales and commercial teams during pre-contract phases to create realistic and achievable project schedules, contributing to the formation of commercial agreements
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential scheduling risks and considerations before contract finalization to ensure informed decision making
  • After contract signing, seamlessly transition the developed project schedules to the assigned Project Managers (PM), providing comprehensive briefings to ensure effective schedule management
  • Maintain and regularly update the master schedule for the entire project portfolio, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the latest project information
  • Manage the Intake and processing of project change orders affecting schedule and/or equipment demand, update baseline schedules as needed
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute regular reports on the project schedules, identifying trends, areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization
  • Create and implement project schedule training curriculum, including onboarding programs for new Project Managers to ensure consistency in scheduling practices across the organization
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure that schedules align with project requirements, contractual obligations and overall business objectives
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within the energy or construction industry
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience working in high matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams, with global experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presenting and listening) and effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Remote opportunity within the United States, with the willingness to travel as needed for business

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills. The national Average Base Salary Range is $84,000-$112,000 . Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance.
