The Department of Chemistry at Rice University in Houston, TX seeks applicants for a tenure-track appointment at open-rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025. We seek faculty members who will develop a world-leading dynamic and innovative research program in fundamental science and who will excel in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, while embracing Rice Universitys diverse community and culture of excellence.
We welcome applicants with expertise in any area of Chemistry for Energy and Sustainability , including, but not limited to, chemistry research on polymer upcycling, solar energy conversion, solar fuels, energy storage, environmental remediation, photocatalysis, and green chemistry in general.
