Operations and Maintenance Service Manager
Eagle Solar and Light is hiring an Operations and Maintenance Service Manager to join the team. The O&M Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations and maintenance activities for solar EPC projects, ensuring the highest level of customer service and system performance. This role will also:
Manage O&M teams
Develop maintenance strategies
Implement customer service initiatives to optimize long-term reliability and profitability of solar assets
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Maintenance:
Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective O&M activities across all solar projects.
Coordinate with all stakeholders to plan and execute maintenance activities.
Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability, implementing measures to maximize energy production and minimize downtime.
2. Maintenance Planning and Execution
Develop comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for solar installations
Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of O&M activities.
Implement data-driven approaches to optimize asset performance and minimize operational risks.
3. Customer Service and Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting support, and guidance to customers regarding system operation, maintenance, and performance.
4. Team Leadership and Development
Lead and mentor a team of operations, maintenance, and customer service professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the O&M organization
5. Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations related to O&M activities and customer service.
Prepare regular reports on O&M performance that include key metrics for the business
6. Growth and Expansion
Develop a plan for outreach to existing customers that are in needed of expanded O&M contract
Identify new customers from other installations that can be served by our Company’s O&M service.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree is required. A major in engineering, renewable energy, business administration, or related field is strongly preferred.
Proven experience in operations and maintenance, managing budgets, developing and implementing maintenance strategies within the solar industry or related field
Experience in leadership, managing a service team
Customer service experience
Strong communication skills
Strong technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, O&M best practices, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Familiarity with O&M software, data analysis tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
