Chemours is seeking an Account Manager, Distribution & Sales to join our growing Commercial team! This position will report directly to the Regional Business Director at our Wilmington, DE location.

The North American Sales team is a key enabler of driving growth for the organization. We have Account Managers focused on building and maintaining business with existing customers, some focused on managing relationships with our channel partners, and others finding opportunities with prospective customers. All of these roles are supported by and work seamlessly with phenomenal sales operations and customer service teams to help day-to-day operations run smoothly.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Regular customer outreach regarding business conditions and market opportunities
  • Account Managers are responsible creating and executing a comprehensive account plan, as well as forecasting customer needs.
  • Account Managers should coordinate with the Regional Business Director to formulate a price strategy for non-contracted accounts, including our Distributors
  • Account Managers must understand and promote the value of our Ti-Pure products in the marketplace, consistent with account plans, with the goal of increasing Chemours’ market share and profitability
  • Account Managers must represent Chemours professionally in front of customers, at industry events, and within our organization
  • Account Managers must work with Supply Chain, Product Managers, Technical Marketing and other groups to deliver industry-leading service to our customers
  • Confidently build and present commercial, business, and financial acumen both written and verbally in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Drafts, negotiates, and close contracts with ease
  • Identifies the root cause of barriers and solution complex problems, involving relevant business functions when needed
  • Understands how to develop demand at customers by selling solutions, not pushing products
  • Establish trust and rapport with customers across different markets and products

The Following Is Required For This Role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (typically, but not limited to, Business and Engineering)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledgeable or able to understand Titanium Dioxide products and its end-use applications, or possess experience with similar industrial chemicals
  • Professionalism and Poise: Must demonstrate a track record of professionalism and be capable of leading negotiations with Customers
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Experience in delivering customer-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills including a polished phone presence, must be able to establish credibility with customers
  • Willing to travel 25-50% (dependent on local COVID restrictions)

The Following Is Preferred For This Role

  • Experience with OMP, SirionLabs and Salesforce
  • Demonstrated negotiation experience
  • Public-speaking experience
  • 5+ years in the Chemicals industry

$93,184.00 – $145,600.00

The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
