ECSC is responsible for all new renewable facilities in the NextEra fleet from the early stage development through construction and everything in between. This position is responsible for the disassembling, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of printed circuit boards, power supplies, and a variety of electrical/electronic devices and modules. Employees in this job learn to read and comprehend drawings, vendor manuals, technical specifications, and schematics associated with a variety of circuit boards and electronic devices. Individuals in this role use electronic test equipment to conduct troubleshooting activities, component testing and circuit board functional testing. In this role, you will be working in the PDC lab, and we welcome an intern with any type of engineering background to apply.
Job Overview
This job is a summer position offering experience with career-related activities encountered in a student’s area of specialization. This position will provide mentoring and practical hands-on experience to assist the intern with achieving deliverables related to the wind generation industry. To be considered for this position the applicant must be actively enrolled full-time in a two-year electrical, mechanical, technical, or wind degree (or equivalent) program at a college with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
