Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Head of Procurement to join our client’s team. This pivotal role will oversee all procurement activities related to solar and storage projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for solar and storage projects.

– Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.

– Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

– Collaborate with project teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and objectives.

– Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

– Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

– Drive sustainability initiatives within the procurement function to support the company’s environmental goals.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

– Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role within the renewable energy sector, specifically solar and storage projects.

– Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale procurement activities and delivering cost savings.

– Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

– In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and industry regulations.

– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

– Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and performance optimization.
